DW's touch in our RV, how do you personalize your rig?

Here is one of hers!

I don't have pics but we have a handcarved wooden eagle plaque one of our fellow forum members made and several other little eagle and frog trinkets. We also changed our quilt to a much more comfortable one that makes the bedroom look more open and airy. Lots of little mods to make life easier as well. ie wooden coat and key racks by the door, extra towel racks, soap holders etc. Not to mention the awning pole and bracket mod. Easy little touches make it nice... although we only set the decorations out on longer trips or rallies.

I've never done it before, but I just threw in some fall accents in ours two days ago. Just some ivy-type things in fall colors around the rear windows / entertainment center and placemats / dish towels to match. Gives it a little color and can be switched out for seasons.

Thank you, Asquared. Would love to see a picture of the carved eagle. DH loves Eagles. We have also added a quilt in our room to match our personality and the holder for keys by the door.

Love the seasonal touches, raspivey. We have our 5th set up like a second home. All we add is needed clothes and food.

I will try to remember to get a picture the next time I go out to the storage lot. We have a small eagle clock too.

No Foo Foo interior decorations in my Man Cave.

The DW has enough of a collection of bric-a-brac at home to start a museum.

Here's a little customizing we did. Used DW's vinyl cutter to make a peel and stick wall art.

A bottle opener/key hanger that was a gift from a wood working friend in New Mexico.

And some various eBay finds.

We just started to work on the 'decor' of our new camper. I've never been real big on that sort of stuff, at least in the camper. But I saw pictures of the Flagstaff version of our camper on a dealers website, and it was nicely trimmed out with some flowers and other stuff, and we decided to emulate (more-or-less) that look. Nothing major, just a few small fake plants, a fake fruit bowl and some glass canisters filled with multi-colored pasta and beans.

I'll have to get pictures next time I open it up, but here is a picture of the look we are shooting for...

We have found command strips work really well for hanging pictures and smaller stuff on the walls without holes.

We just got ours but the first thing I did was switch out the bedding, I'm going for a tropical theme since we live in Florida . I ordered extra fabric to make window treatments . Click image for larger version

Wonder why they went with two window in the dinette slide? I also like how they have ivy in the Tabasco and beer koozy holder over the sink. 😅

Love these! This is one of the reasons I joined the forum was to see what to do with my narrow little cubby holes.

Thanks for posting!

We go camping.......... no Froo Froo pretty ad ons, the camper is almost the way it came from the factory. Just the basics no added weight. The only thing added is a clock to tell time when needed. Just things that are necessary and needed for us.

Yes, minimalist IS a type of decorating.
