Fall Foliage Reports
I know there are Reports to look at online but they don't update often. Family and I are planning a 10 day trip someone around the States surrounding Texas. We had originally planned Colorado but we are afraid we will miss the small window of Opportunity for Fall Colors there. So we thought about going to North easter part of Oklahoma, North part of Arkansas and possibly Missouri. Do any of you that live in those regions or other areas around the border states of Texas that have nice Fall Foliage and if so When are the trees starting to change colors?

Fall colors
Temps are dipping up in the high country around Boone and Mount Mitchell, we'll be seeing color in the next week or so. Got to get your fall colors in the lens of those camera's so it is coming around the corner!

Went to the Upper Pennisula Mich last week for 6 days, beautiful colors and just about 50/50 on the green to red and brown leaf ratio. Very beautiful. Happy Camping!

Fall foliage
NC, Fall comes to the high country, around mid of Oct. We are just now getting some much needed cool air. We are finally seeing the acorns falling from our Oaks and the Boone, Mount Mitchell area, the highest elevations are just getting to the low 40's. We expect to see some color in the next couple of weeks peeking in.

Foliage
When it's done up there jump in that rig and come see the beautiful Mountains of NC. We have amazing parks, Blue Ridge, Smokey Mt. National park, Pisgah National forest..each area turning the colors at a different time.

I live in Southwest Missouri and not much color change so far. Just got back from Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak area last week and leaves are starting to turn gold on the mountain beside the pines.

Ruben,
Just read this article about MO Hwy 21 & Fall colors. This may be a trip worth taking. I am in Joplin right now and the colors have not started yet. Probably 2 weeks out.

Just yesterday, went up to Kenosha Pass, hiked the Colorado Trail. The aspen colors are just reaching their peaks now at the higher elevations.
