Some rain while camping can be peaceful provided it doesn't conflict with plans or being comfortable. Glad to hear you got some relaxation in too.

Do you have plans for the next trip yet?

Camping in the rain is better than not camping! That said, I go camping to get out of stuff, not to find something to do.

We just went on our first trip in our new Wildcat 185br. We go to music festivals so we don,t get much sleep but plenty of relaxation. It's our first camper and it is heaven!Click image for larger version

Congratulations on the new travel trailer! As far as I am concerned, there is nothing more peaceful than the pitter patter of rain on a camper roof (as long as it doesn't last for five days).

I know when we made our first couple of trips, I preferred not to go to far from home, just it case. The Cedar Hill state park is real nice, & we have stayed there twice already this year. We were "up" on the second tier, & had a great view of the lake out the back window. Also, just 3 miles from WalMart, in case you need a fuse (like I did) or whatever.
