For Families Looking To Homeschool

Before we started fulltiming one of the big hurdles was our kids education it was not until we found John Taylor Gatto that all fell in place. Homeschooling is very very personal I again will point to what simply gave me all the info and opened my eyes to the reality of the formal school system in the USA. John Taylor Gatto read all his books and watch his The Ultimate History Lesson: A Weekend with John Taylor Gatto this is one of the most impacting interviews I have ever seen you can watch it for free on YouTube.

I hope this post help those that are worried about fulltiming with kids.

I had to read Gatto's Dumbing Us Down for one of my college classes. I went on to be a high school math teacher, but I quit to be a stay at home mom. We started homeschooling when our oldest started 4th grade. He just graduated in June. We love it! We purchased a 233s in Feb. 2013. While we cannot go full time because of DH's job, we do plan to try some cross country adventures as soon as our youngest daughter's are a few years older. I regret we didn't do it when my older kids were younger.
