First weekend at our seasonal site. Park still officialy closed, me and my 7yo girl are the only ones here. Nice and quiet but cold

I know the feeling, we finally got out for the first time this year. This trip had a ton of stressors. Everything from driving in pouring down rain, to site issues, to water getting in the trailer and the list goes on. The thing is, none of these issues were able to ruin our trip this weekend. A damp fire is still better than no fire. A hard cider camping is sweeter than the same hard cider at home. This is all because a bad day camping is better than s good day at work.

First trip of the year. Cold here too, but considering a fire tonight anyhow. Perhaps a little more rum in the coffee.
