I can SLIGHTLY relate. We used to have a popup. And we only went to one campground for a awhile. It wasn't all that but the campsites were great. Spread out in the woods and wasn't all that crowded anyway. You could camp all week and hardly see anyone anyone else other than driving down the road. Then when we upgraded to our SV305 and started going other places and realized not all are anywhere near as spacious. Was kind of a letdown. I don't like to be crowded when I'm camping. I don't want to sit at my table with the window open and be apart of my neighbors conversation.

It was a lifted gas cart with no back seat.

Some places and or people (namely my Dad) don't like anything that looks like it will tear up the ground. i.e. four wheelers, go carts, or golf carts with nobby wheels. This man has 70 acres and the only off road vehicle that goes on it is his tractor with turf saving tires. Won't let my brother ride his 4wheeler except on the driveway. Which is ok for the kids as his driveway is 5/8 of a mile long but sucks for adults.

The only reason someone would complain that I can think of is noise. Some of the carts people bring are for hunting. Some are monsters w/ lift kits, fog lights and truck horns. Fast too. Even so, like I said, I've never heard from anybody who was given a hard time.
