Youngest son leaving for Lakewood tomorrow. He couldn't get off same week as me. 4th of July in MB-Yikes!! more crowded than I care for. Wife just talked to a friend of ours who stays there year round and she said the beach is already packed. We leave in 3 weeks for a 2 week stay. Daughter flying down for the second week. So I get to try out my new aux. fuel tank and she wants me to take her bike along, so 2 street bikes in the hauler for the first time too. Gonna be interesting!!!
Just check the weather for Saturday travel and it is going to ....HOT...., I am in Chantilly Va right and they are calling for a temp of 101 degrees to day and 100 for tomorrow. For those of you that are towing make sure your vehicles are ready for it, there would nothing more dangerous in this heat then to break down with kids and pets.
We are headed out the 13th as well. But we are headed to Willow Tree Rv Resort up near North Myrtle. Can't wait. We didn't get to camp at all last year and we are so excited to be going to Willow Tree again. Here is our site last time.
Come on down - it is plenty hot. We are at Lakewood CG and will be until the 10th. Darn - have to go back home to start paying for next years trip on the 11th.
