To prevent the pieces of cinnamon sticks, just tie them up in a piece of cheese cloth.

Still get the flavor, no straining.

When we were in Gatlinburg TN, we just had to stop at the Smokey Mountain Moonshine Company and sample their 10 flavors of 'shine including Apple Pie. Wifey brought a few jars home for the holidays.

They advertise on the TV series Moonshiners with the claim they are the only legal Moonshine in the country. I guess you can order their Moonshine for delivery via mail.

Sorry - it's not delivered via mail,but you can buy it at local liquor stores - go to their site and input your ZIP for the stores in your area.
