Not true. If you turn it off with the switch all the preprogrammed settings are saved. Pull the plug and all is lost.

the Mini Keurig doesn't have to be programed,.....but besides that, the Keurig isn't an expensive Mr. Coffee, nor is the Mr. Coffee a cheap Keurig....... comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges, the only thing they have in common is they both make coffee, but in totally different ways, ....... and everyone has the choice of which they prefer, if they prefer either one at all, ......but I repeat, the Keurig isn't an expensive Mr. Coffee, we have both and the Mr. Coffee hasn't been touched since we bought the first Keurig five yrs. ago and now we have a Mini in the Micro Lite

Hey, I was just trying to start another great FRF debate. The bike rack debate was getting old!

Keurig is the dumbest thing in the world, it's an unbelievably expensive coffee pot that you have to buy really expensive coffee for.

BTW, I'm a moron, we own 2 of them. Yep one in the house one in the trailer.

We had been planning on going with a Keurig in the MH when we buy our rig next year, but then we (well, the DW/decision maker) discovered the Aeropress. Makes the best tasting cu of coffee, it's quick and easy relative to pour-overs or french presses, and it's easy to clean up. Only runs $30, too, and, as far as we can tell, makes a great tasting cup of coffee no matter what grounds you use!

We bought one about a month ago to have for when we buy our rig - now we've put our Keurig in storage, use the Aeropress every morning, and I've been told we'll be buying a second one for the MH...

AEROPRESS® or Bed Bath and Beyond if you want to check it out...

I am going to look for the Aeropress at BB & B. We have a little 4 cup Mr. Coffee drip machine, but after using a Keurig in the house for years, I get anxious for my morning coffee and don't like the long wait or the messy clean-up of the Mr. Coffee.

Well, since this thread has resurrected, I'll suggest this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Works great. I supplement my tried and true camp percolator with this for quick single cups.

Messy cleanup? I have a 4-cup Mr. Coffee. I rinse the carafe and dump the filter grounds in the trash. Done.

You must be using the non-biodegradable plastic cups, as I believe the re-usable ones require some kind of "messy cleanup."

Also, you may save some time on the first cup, but now you've got to wait for the Keurig to make the 2nd/3rd/4th cups, while I just pour from the carafe. Seems like a wash to me.
