I wish you luck with the fishing Dan. We go to Livingston quite a bit (camped once, boating mostly), and I have yet to catch anything there. But then again, I really don't get real serious about it either. I go mostly to buzz around in the boat. We park out at Pine Island and swim a bit and otherwise just enjoy the water. But the fish have eluded me.

We haven't been at all this year. Let me know how the lake levels are. The drought is just killing us everywhere.

If you find the lake levels are too low, try Martin Dies Jr. State Park; about an hour east of Livingston. We were there last week and the lake is completely full - a bit brownish - but surprisingly full.

Dan, I used to fish there a lot when I was a kid (long time ago) and really enjoyed it. Be sure and post up a good review of your camping/fishing trip.
