Fort Pickens Campground, Gulf Islands National Seashore. One of our favorites. Here for spring break, daughter is surprising our 3 grands and they will join us on Thursday.

When in the area gotta stop at Joe Patti Seafood. Let the personal Seafood Fest begin!

Oh and Blue Angels flying Tuesday thru Friday. Click image for larger version

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

It’s deceptive. Right front raised 5 inches and left four inches. This site is at the end of the ridges and it took me several years of waiting to get it. Moving to another site for the summer race and next years events.

If I had pulled back another foot the ground would be better but I didn’t feel like removing the tow bar. Here’s a side view where you can see the Jeep leaning away.

Another great weekend at the StringBreak music festival in Brooksville FL - always interesting people & music throughout the campground. Sites are always a bit tight but we spend more time at one of the 3 music stages or around other sites for beer bottle shares, mix up of music styles or just plain people watching (that older man with the hula hoop literally did not stop for an entire music set of 1 hr+ and he was at least 75 yrs old plus it was the end of the 4th day of music!).

The list of performers included Southern Gothic, High South, Oak Hill Drifters, Steel Wheels....on & on! Had the joy of hearing Mandy Harvey sing ... she is so inspirational & taught us all how to sign to Somewhere over the Rainbow & join her journey as a deaf performer.
