We spent six days at Camp 60 out of Headquarters, Idaho. Helping our ATV Club cleaning trails there. We came home for two days before heading to Cottonwood CG.

We spent eight days at the Cottonwood Creek CG on the Orogrande River out of Pierce in north central Idaho. Helping the ATV Club clean trails, getting hard on an old guy. The couple in the picture is one seven couples that were there helping.

I forgot to take any pictures of the camp at Camp 60, all dispersed camping, real boondocking, no cell service, nothing but great outdoors! It was the same at Cottonwood, these are in the Clearwater National Forest, about 25 to 30 miles from the nearest small town. The best way to camp, few people and quiet! The Forest Service maintains vault toilets at the campgrounds, that's about it for amenities.

Almost forgot to take the pix at Cottonwood, we were starting to pack up when I snapped these. Had our table with the Blackstone grill and the Weber Q 2000 grill on it. Had them set up outside the door so I could do the cooking, wife is really enjoying the Blackstone, she doesn't have to do much cooking that way, leaves it up to me.

Here's one picture of most of our ATV's when we were down by the lake behind Dworshak Dam on the North Fork of the Clearwater River. That was accessed by trail out of Camp 60.

Bouge Chitto State Park in Franklinton, La site #30. Very long site with nice shade for the most part. The rock pad was kinda washed out so not very level. We have this same spot booked for Halloween so looking forward to coming back!

We camped at Merry Mac campground in Merrimac WI for the 4th. We have been here before but not on a holiday weekend. The place was had plenty of activities going on for the kids. The pool and pond was clean and great. The owner defiantly takes pride in the park, he was on top of everything and I kept seen him from sun up to sun down. The staff kept the bathrooms, showers, and the ground clean even though every site was full. The fireworks for a small park was a full 30 min of a great show with the DJ playing american pride songs in the background. 2 thumbs up!!

We’ve stayed there once, nice place but the owners we’re fairly gripey.

Smokemont Campground, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

This is our newest favorite site at Smokemont. Spent the long 4th of July weekend here. Beautiful area, nice weather with a few showers, great hiking. Saw a herd of elk twice. Went to the 4th of July Powwow in Cherokee on Saturday.
