We spent 6 nights at Pensacola RV Park in Pensacola, FL. Nice pull-thru spots (mostly) and a nice fishing pond. Not many other amenities, but I do think I saw a dog park. This is our second stay here and own't be our last- close to I-10 and affordable.

[

I never got to talk to the owners, but our camper's twin was there:

And my son caught his first 2 fish:

Little sunnies, but a fish is a fish! He's fished hard for about 2 years now and has always been skunked. Boy has some determination and kept at it. Finally got rewarded. Should have heard him hollar in fear(?) as he pulled that first one out of the water!!!

Headed from Pensacola to Orlando, we made another stop at the Bass Pro Shop in Gainesville, FL. I think this is our third stay now; in fact, we've stayed at this exact spot in the parking lot a year prior. It was nice enough that we didn't need the generator overnight.

And I noticed this time that they have a dog run/park in the back:

We were headed to the Thousand Trails Orlando location in Kissimmee/Clermont, FL. We got a pretty nice wide spot that was next to a good friend of my son. He was real happy. Plus, we were close to a field where many families try to park around so the kids can play in the open area.

The park is crazy busy already for November. Families everywhere. And already tensions between the families and the old fogies. Good times.

We've always seen big tortoises but this was the first time we saw a little baby one. The shoe in the picture is my 7 year old son's flip flop.

Wonderful week at Venture Out on Cudjoe Key at MM23. From our 'campsite' we were able to fish, swim, snorkel and on the angle we had with no AC needed got to watch the sunrise every morning over the Atlantic.
Did a quick trip to Key West for the Butterfly conservatory, Mallory Square sunset entertainment and lighting of the waterfront for the Christmas season.

Two different water tours: snorkeling on Looe Key with Captain Mike (Lower Keys Adventure Charters, private eco tours, fishing charters) followed by kayaking thru the back country flats with Captain Markus (Florida Keys Kayak Tours and Rentals and Florida Keys Canoe Tours)

What a great way to lay some eyes on campground locations. I already see a few I want to check out on my next trip. Thanks to all so far, and future contributors.

Green Acres RV Park, Savannah, TN. Thanksgiving 2019. New ownership has really upgraded this park with more long pull through's laid out. Close to Shiloh Battlefield, Buford Pusser Museum and a marvelous Veterans Memorial Park. Highly recommend this RV Park.
