Grayland Beach State Park, Washington
We spent last week at Grayland SP in Grayland , Wa....nice place. We learned of a beach (nicknamed Washaway Beach) a couple miles south where the houses are falling prey to the ocean erosion at a rate of 100' per winter. Parts of the original town are a mile out to sea now. Below our campsite photo is a couple pics of this beach. The pipes sticking out of the water are old well pipes from former homes. Sad to see.

Yes - great for seeing the falls and very well laid out with lots of amenities for the kids.

Wow. I was raised in Newcastle until I was in the 4th grade.

Didn't get many pics but our recent stay at Buffalo River State Park in Minnesota was a great week.
It's electrical only with generous space between sites and a managed oasis for the kids.
We like it so much last year, we decided to return again this year.
Our current campsite is anchored for a week on Canadian side of Lake of the Woods.
