I hear ya! Daughter is on her own and our son is getting ready to turn 20 soon. He has never enjoyed the boat. The DW and I on the other hand, enjoy it as much as camping. We have several sandbars down here where adults hang out and have a few, grill, and generally do nothing but relax. It's common to greet folks down here with "what kind of boat do you own"?

I've been there, not the greatest road to the campground, but once you get there it's beautiful. I love all those pecan trees.

Had to go to Dallas for work. I thought what a chance to get some warmer weather to camp in, so I talked the wife into coming with me and bringing the new trailer.
