Service COE - Coffeeville, AL
This was our very first camping trip 4-3-15 (Easter Weekend). We wanted to stay close so we went to Service Park which is a COE campground on the Tombigbee river in Coffeeville, AL. If you want solitude and peace and quiet this is the place. It is out in the country and the only noise you will hear is the engines of the tug boats pushing barges on the river. It is very well kept has water/power at the site and a dump station is provided and they have bathrooms with showers and a laundry room.
The lot I picked was #12 which is a pull through site parallel to the river. It is wider than most because of the drainage area to the right of it. I enjoyed our stay there and can't wait for our next trip.

Thanks! Wish I was doing more "camping" but really just using it as a place to sleep and eat. In town for a beach wedding.

A little more set up on our lot. The fence is to keep the dogs from wandering away. Its sitting on acre of rocks and sage brush, I like to say. Its nice quite and most the time you hardly see anyone.
