We are there every year at this time usually during the week. Weekends book fast. It's quiet, clean, and never had any issues. There's a creek that runs behind it and the kids have fun looking for crayfish. There's plenty other things to do besides Knoebels. Coal mine, cave tours and a Red Deer Farm to name a few.
Oh and you have to go across the road to their ice cream stand.

It's nice. For us, it's a toss up between there and Lake Glory (Knoebel's other campground).

We stayed there once with our 1994 Thor Chateau. IIRC there was no shade at our site but still was nice.

Was not aware of Red Deer Farm, might be worth another trip to Knoebels. We stayed at Lake Glory last year, it was sufficient but we were at Knoebels every day so the campground was just a place to sleep. Might try J&D's next year. Heard good thing about J&D's.
