Mama Gerties, Swannanoa, NC

Stayed here for a week near the top of the mountain. Beautiful view, very nicely maintained CG and sites where we were were good sized. One of the pics is a panoramic I made with my iPhone, not sure how it's going to work on the site, might be too big.

Hi! We were there the same weekend. It was pretty busy with the all the AU fans. We were on the B lane because we arrived late Friday night. We went back the following weekend and the campground was a ghost town. We walked the new sites on the C peninsula and are also thinking of a seasonal site as well. Maybe we will see you there sometime.

They're a little proud of their new 50 amp sites. The pads are beautiful but not worth $52 a night.

Mt. Madonna County Park, top of the mountain in between Watsonville and Gilroy, CA. Peace and quiet for a few days. 60's during the day, campfire each afternoon/evening. Click image for larger version

Whistlers campground in Jasper National Park, Alberta Canada. Currently our favourite overall. Full hookups, quiet, and so much to do if you are in to hiking and exploring.

Had to move sites part way through our stay, but no big deal.

Kansas City Jellystone- the pull-thrus are setup such that 2 campers face each other. Supposedly this site has the biggest "yard".

Don't you find it difficult to sleep in those vertical campsites?

I actually finally broke down and bought a pink selfie-stick from Walmart to help with the family selfies. Stupid thing doesn't work- I did NOT end up as a buxom blonde with pretty "eyes" (oh, and it doesn't actually trigger the picture taker on my phone).
