Pleasant. Didn't get to James Island this trip, but we did visit friends who live on John's Island, right "next door." Also went to Ft. Sumter (again). Did you go to Patriots Point? I highly recommend that.
What's funny is back in April, we stayed at a farm in John's Island. As we drive to James Island, we finally realized how close the two were!
We didn't got to Patriots Point, though I've heard good things about it. We were only supposed to be in Charleston for just a couple days w/ only 1 sight-seeing day. We went to Fort Sumter, did a carriage tour ride, and went out to dinner. Even with extending our stay, I was working and fighting the camper.
We do definitely want to go back!
