St. Agatha, Maine. Lakeview RV Resort. Very nice and the view of Long Lake is great. We are in one of the new sites. There is a restaurant on site that is very busy with the locals. Had dinner there tonight and it was very good. We are here for three nights.

We stayed there a few nights. Was pretty neat watching the barges go by. Funny enough we were headed to Oklahoma City !

If you're looking around the Niagara Falls area (US side), Branches on Grand island is a newer CG that is very nice...clean well run & 15- 20 min from the falls. 2 zip lines, 2 pools, a swimmable lake.

Now in Grand Vallée, Quebec, still on the St. Lawrence Waterway. This place has a great view, full hookups, and $35/ night. Click image for larger version

Hither Hills

Hither Hills State Park, Montauk, NY. I started going here before I could walk and now taking my own little munchkins. It is a beautiful place and I highly recommend it. The campground is on the ocean. Very difficult to book. Must book 9 months to the day ahead for the summer season.

Looks like I have some catching up to do.

First, here was our camp site at Disney's Fort Wilderness.

Then we moved up to Jacksonville, FL to Kathryn Hannah Abbey Park. Our site was downright beautiful!

And having the beach right there was just icing on the cake.

That said, apparently August is breeding season for banana spiders. These things are HUGE and make huge nests.

Let's play a rousing game of "find the spiders":

We headed up the road to Charleston, SC. We stayed at James Island Park Campground and loved it so much that we extended our stay from Tuesday until Friday (I lie- our slide freaking broke and was stuck in the out position; had to get a motor and mobile RV tech to get it in... now it's stuck *IN*). BUT, it was a beautiful park with a ton going on.

We visited Fort Sumter while we were there. This was a great tie-in to our Civil War lessons that we are doing right now.
