Thanks. It's a site between a service road and a beach house (I guess) parking lot, so it's huge. I camped with my parents as a kid and we just got into it this summer after borrowing mom&dad's camper to go to glacier/yellowstone/tetons/devil's tower/mt. rushmore/badlands. Came across a deal on what we researched as the perfect camper for us. So......here we are. Truck is new to me (2014) as of Feb., and kinda kicked all this off. Expensive year......

Yeah, but good times like that - what an awesome list of places you rolled through - and memories, how did that commercial go ...

"Priceless"

Only 5,000 miles in 2 weeks.
Probably going to Olympic next year.

Let's see your 2016 Campsites

Chickasaw National Park, Sulpher OK. 57 degrees, clear skies, and a warm fire. Nice campground, but pretty tight maneuvering through even for my setup.

Near the San Rafael Swell courtesy the BLM in Utah. We were about a quarter mile from a road that carried maybe 2 dozen cars by day and even fewer at night. Dry-camped a week there in late September. So dark on a cloudy night we couldn't see our hands in front of our faces and so quiet the only thing we could hear was the noises inside our heads. Nice dark sky for our use of telescopes, of course. The solar/inverter allowed us much comfort without even thinking about using the generator or consciously conserving energy. The peace and quiet was impressive.

When we stayed in Moab, I learned that my cell phone's flashlight wasn't nearly bright enough! I was in a RV park and walked to the dumpster to toss trash. I turned around and had a moment where I had to get my bearings to find my way back to the camper.

I *loved* the darkness!

Another one at Orchard Beach State Park, because we had something to go to in Onekama. Next week, we're going somewhere else, I swear (Apple Festival in Charlevoix, MI).

Had to put down my 13 year old lab on Saturday. That part was awful, but this is our 10(?) month old puppy, being CALM for 3 minutes.

Spring Mill State Park

Had a good little weekend with Family.

It was a Halloween themed weekend. I guess next year i'll bring more decorations. Some people go all out on this weekend.

Fawn Lake Resort, Lone Butte BC Canada Site 7. I loved it so much there, I stayed 1 week longer than I planned. Great spot. Quiet and peaceful.

Cruisin the Coast ... been going for several years, but first time with a camper - free style boondocking on Hwy 90 in a big empty (not so much that weekend) parking lot created by Hurricane Katrina.
