That's me at 2:00 of the red roof. High 90's, no shade, no use for bubble wrap on the windows, or pillows stuffed in the skylights, or extra fans behind the fridge. Inside is low 70's and beer is ice cold!

DW, along with the DS and his DW "Roughed" it last weekend at a nearby campground. Cabin Lake County Park, Beulaville, NC. Great little park overall! Small campground has about 10 small RV sites (2 or 3 would hold a 30' unit) along with some tent sites.
Definitely will be back!

Custer south dakota

Fort welikit in South Dakota, real nice campground, one of the few that allows camp fires this season. Would stay there again.

Here's my friend's site at Sea Pines after yesterday's downpour and tornado warning. You can see my camper in the background.

My buddy puts plastic blocks under his leveling system and we literally had to hold them in place to keep them from floating away. He kicked off a shoe to go inside and it floated under his camper.

But, the coup de grace was plugging into the electrical box while standing in 4-6" of water. (He did test it with his voltmeter before we did it- but still...)

The only good thing is this ground is sand-dirt and most of the water was gone within a few hours.
