This land is across the road from a cove on the lake and they have a boat and a jet ski. They also built a barn with a washer and dryer, so it is pretty much the perfect campsite.

Deer, coyotes, and raccoons are frequent guests.

They have the Windjammer and our trailer is the other one, a 2013 Rockwood 2703WS. The area that is fenced off is their garden. Farther up the hill, they grow watermelon and cantaloupe.

that is perfect!!! For now we still like going all over but my brother and i keep our eye out for the right piece of land to just park the campers at. oh and the money to buy it lol, but at the price you guys got that would be easy. Some day but for now we shall keep traveling.

We only did 1/2 of the 7 mile trail which was very easy but very hot and humid when we went. This trail goes by all 3 water falls and part of it through a park area.
There are no trash cans in the park, it's a take in take out park. Even the food stand in the park area has no trash cans.
Have a good trip, very nice park!

Oh, they still travel. They are retired and have brought their trailer out to some of our state parks many times. They also took it out to Arizona last winter and lived in it for six months.

They also own a five-bedroom lake house with a boat dock on the same lake. They rent that out for summer weekends and stay in the camper when they have renters.

Also, that price was just to purchase the land.

It was all wooded when they bought it.

They had to pay to clear it, dig a well, put in a septic system, pour gravel, build the barn, spread grass seed, etc.

I do think they should have kept more trees on the hill, but they wanted the sunlight for the garden. It's still an awesome place to camp, though.

I know it is ugly!! But, we have to be here for two nights. This place is close to the Phoenix airport and the Ford dealer where I need to have the truck serviced.
Walked the dog at 9 last night and it was 106 degrees. At 7 this morning it was 91.
Grandson has a 10:00 flight home is the main reason we are in this Arizona furnace. Leaving early in the morning heading north to cooler weather. Click image for larger version
