Loved it.

There is another cg at the park Deer something. It isn't on the water though.

Here are a couple of more pics from our campsite.

We've been to Carlyle several times. We had friends that lived on the east side of the lake. Stayed at Boulder and Coles Creek.

Our TT is 22 feet, and our TV is a 4-door Jeep Wrangler, we fit almost anywhere. lol It's a palace compared to the hammock I like to camp in by myself sometimes though (wife won't do that).

We've never camped at Coles Creek, but drove through it once.

Here you go. Mine is the one on the right, beating my teammate at Hraetland Park Topeka.

Rain and more Rain at MidAmerica Motorplex outside Omaha. The toy hauler is a SOB trailer that carried our Spec Miata and gave us all a place to stay at the tracks.

BamaGrad,

I'm headed to GSP in 10 days to meet up with a bunch of Disney fans. It will be my first time there. We are on site 70 on Sumac Rd. Several of the people we are meeting up with go to GSP every year and talk very highly.

Yeah apparently you can not use the steps unless an emergency.. It is 897 steps. Though...

Visited the front of the white house today. It was weird, we were all looking at it from the road.. Behind the barricades of course... When they all started to force everyone into the park across the street. Not sue why, there were some protests going on for all sorts of things... Wonder it they pushed the envelope to much. They ended up closing the whole street.. Oh well, neat to see either way.

It was also police week so we visited the memorial and watched the honor guard standby. Two acquaintances and one friend are in that wall... A beautiful but sad place.

NV Treasures RV resort in Pahrump, NV. Overall a good family weekend, but I won't be going back to the "resort". They are attempting to make it a high end RV resort, but it is definitely lacking.

Equity Life Partners who owns Outdoor World, Thousand Trails, and Encore are buying up places but they all seem to be going the way of Seasonal or Full Time sites, pushing their members away, seems to be a common thing with some of these places.

One CG in Thousand Trails has 400 something sites only 75 are transient, rest are seasonal or Full Time, sad.

GSP is a nice park. Took some damage from the hurricanes but the trees are recovering. There are great biking trails connecting the park to the Hugh Branyon trails of Orange Beach. Est. 2003 - Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail

The alligator was no more than 30 yards of my nation. I was in site 487 i think.

But you have a nice built in BBQ that makes it really hard to back in a big rig. Who could want more?
