Boondock camping on public lands South of Marshall Pass in Colorado 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Despite shaded area, our solar charged our batteries up each day with no issues!





There still was some snow to play with in the mountains which we and our 3 dogs appreciated cuz it was very hot in the lower elevations. Gotta love Colorado, where else can you have a snowball fight in June?

Panther River. Can't get over what an amazing find this is. Had the place to ourselves for 3 of 5 nights there. Amazing hiking in every direction.

If you're staying in the area, search out Monument Rocks. It's about 90 minutes from there but are pretty cool. The kids and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

It was just an overnight for us. At stop #4 for a few days at the Silt/Colorado River KOA. Nice place.



In case anyone's wondering what's up with the KOA after KOA thing.
Well I downloaded the KOA app, joined, and I figured ok now I'm testing this KOA thing on this 3 week trip. So far so good.

Quick three day trip just down the road to KOA in Manchester, TN. Still working out everything in our new rig and letting the kiddos play. Small but pretty nice place. Clean and friendly. Nice pool and splash pad for the kids.

You set that screened in canopy every time you go out? I have a Coleman 10x10 but only use it if we are out for more than 4 nights as it is a little extra work

Actually first time! We just got in last week. It set up very quickly and broke down very quickly. Took about 10 mins to set up, although I didn't stake it or anything, was sitting on concrete. It's a Coleman 10x12.

What did you think of the place? I am trying to find a place to go in July, as the one I wanted to go to is full, and looking at it online, it seems pretty nice.

I would stay at Harbortown RV Resort again.. We had Left Washington DC that morning and wanted to stay close to Toledo on our way home to Wisconsin.. We paid 52.00 for a pull through that turned out to be very level and all cement, I never unhooked just took the pressure off of my truck bed leveled and hooked up.. Spent the evening talking to the neighbors.. Real Clean and quiet.. Left about 9 the next morning.. Huge Park with over 300 campsites..
