I am not terrified of spiders. I just don't like them. I got bit in August of 97 by a brown recluse and the scar looks like it happened recently. It took a year and a half to heal up. Let's just say I kill any spiders I see. Around here Browns are everywhere. I am prolly less than 10 feet from one right now. All you have to do is move a couple things and you find one.

Stayed away from Carolina Beach this weekend, ended up in Seneca , SC at South Cove County Park. This is a great park with awesome views. Sorry about the pics being sideways.

Arrived at Virginia Beach KOA on Thursday just in time to ride out Tropical Storm Hermine. Very strong winds and rain started around 2 AM Friday night. Loud night with the wind,rain, and falling debris on roof. No apparent damage. Will get up on roof when wind dies down.

Thanks for bringing Habitat Caravans to my attention. Wife and I are planning to start full timing next year, and this program may be something we would consider, at least part time. I've worked a bit with the local Rebuilding Together affiliate here in Northern VA for the last several years.

Wannabervin, I'm doing a short build in North Carolina in early October then spending the rest of winter back at Habitat in Dade City. It's a great way to get around and do something useful for others. Good luck to you.

We camped at Smokemont campground over the Labor Day weekend. Beautiful spot. No hook-ups but the solar panel did really well. Saw a lot of elk.
