Taughnnock Falls State Park, Lake Cayuga New York  Columbus day weekend.
Sites are narrow and only 16 electric sites among the 78 sites, but is a quiet place among wineries.

Oceano Dunes Pismo Beach Ca. This will be at least once year trip for us the kids loved it. Don't even think about holiday weekends! during the week and early spring or mid fall when school is back in session. the little ones will have to play hooky? Bring their home work and do it with them with the windows open to the beach just yards away.

I'm with you, aeblank. It is awful. Our Sheltie, Sasha, died in our MH on Saturday. She was 2 months shy of being 14.
But, she liked to go camping and she liked being by the lake at Raystown Lake, PA........

Just returned from our 6 day stay at William Bankhead National Forest - Corinth Campground. We really enjoyed the campground and sight seeing around Lewis Smith lake. The sites at the campground are very good and plenty of room between sites. There are a few sites at you can get a small view of the lake and there is a short trail that leads to the lake and boat ramp. The campground was very quiet and and we had a very relaxing week!
