Yep! Only 3 or 4 of us the entire week until Friday night....then it got busy! About 25 or so....about half capacity of the electric sites!
5 Tent campers...now that was hard core as it got into the 20's Fri night and only warming up to the 40's Sat!

Oasis Park at Aztec Hills in Dateland, AZ. Nice place and super friendly people, but nothing around. It's 1 hour "into town" (Yuma) to get to anything.

And lastly/current, Lordsburg KOA in Lordsburg, NM. Remarkably nicer than RV Park Reviews suggests and nicer than its first impressions as we pulled in. Again with the far from everything, but not nearly as bad as Dateland.

Thumbs up Dade City, FL

Enjoying a great and fulfilling time with Habitat Care-A-Vanners in Dade City FL. I have been here since mid December and will move on in mid February. It's great to be able to do something for others as well as see the country.

I didn't get a picture of it but we brought in the New Year in my in-laws camper. We didn't have much choice since my son was sleeping in the bedroom that shared a wall with the living room. So we turned on the heat and went out to the camper! Brand new Cedar Creek with all the fixins... so it was REALLY comfortable!

We went there in August loved the camp ground and surrounding area. The down side was no reception of any kind, cell, TV or internet. My girlfriend was out of work at the time and had a phone interview while we were up there, we had to travel down the mountain to get a cell signal to have her interview. Oh by the way she was hired. Hope you are having fun!

Those are the pictures taken during our "scout out" visit. We had read some reviews that trailers longer than about 24 feet might have a hard time getting in so we drove over to see if we could fit. Will have to take some of us actually set up.

Excited because it's lakefront!

I've posted this before;
I feel for you good folks up north; Living in the sunshine state does have it's advantages.
Be patient, spring will spring in a couple of months then you can get out & enjoy.

Well, a good long winter helps us appreciate the warmer camping weather so much more! Hey, for us Canadians, it's hockey season (and snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing for those so inclined).

I've heard folks from FL, TX and AZ say it's too hot to camp in the summer there so it probably balances out.
