Just found this thread. These are from our vacation first week of August.

Melton Hill dam. Just outside of Lenoir City, Tn. Nice campground, private beach, general store, managed by the COE.

Gotcha. Trying to make plans for Halloween next year and they have plenty of spots still open.

Full concrete site and most are pull throughs. Right off 95 making it a great layover site on your way to the sunshine state. Plenty of fuel stations and food near by. Two attractions we visited were on Jekyll Island, Turtle rescue center and Driftwood beach. This time of year they are booked so schedule in advance. Click image for larger version

Montgomery Bell State Park in their non-sewer creek sites. We had 2 different friends stay with us here over our 2 week stay.

Beautiful park, but a bit of a hike to get into Nashville if youíre here for exploring the city.

Good cell service and fast data on both AT&T and Verizon.

We recently spent several days at Huntington Beach State Park, SC. My DW and I really like the place. They have two sections. One is well established with grass or dirt RV parking areas and has limited hookups. The other just opened this spring and has concrete pads with full hookups. We stayed at the new section. We were three pads away from a cement and wood pathway to the beach. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Watching the sun rise in Jackpot Nevada, thinking about my frozen water lines. We thought temps were going to be in the teens, but it dropped below zero. Brrr!
