We rang in the New Year at Virginia Beach Holiday Trav-L-Park. Site 866, Supersite. Level, concrete pads, with 50/30/20/water/sewer/cable.
That last pic of the sunset is awesome!

Our first camp site in 2018 was Pointsouth KOA in Yamassee South Carolina. We ducked in at the last minute in a snow storm. Pizza and wings on site and delivered to our camper was just what the doctor ordered. Perfectly level pull through.

2 Rivers Campground Carrollton KY.

Nice enough municipal campground. Side of park is on Kentucky River. Could walk over to second city park that also fronts Ohio River. No traffic noise. Great spot for an overnight while en-route. Probably never have much to do here. Full hookups on all sites, lots of pull thru's. 30/50 and 20 amp electric in pole. Good asphalt roads witch level concrete pads, reasonable space.
Couple of longer term folks in campground today - had skirting around trailer, probably transient workers, but only 5 or 6 in park. Was warned to check water before hooking up, apparently a some aren't working, but many were. 30/50 and 20 amp electric in pole. I noticed a couple of trailers with a heavy and 2 14 amp extension cords hooked up.

Bath house was immaculate and relatively new. Internet reservation/check-in no extra charges for reservation. Camp phone number goes to city offices.

We just finished up a short stay at Pioneer Village in North Fort Myers. We used our Trails Collection for Thousand Trails so it was $0/night.

The office staff said they don’t particularly like this TC program as TT staff don’t usually pick sites that will fit the person’s rig. We were put on a pull-thru that apparently is only usable by motorhomers. Or something.

We got there right after office closing time but they met me at the door.

The staff gave us a site that we couldn’t get into (no one over a 20’ trailer would ever get into that site), so they didn’t do any better than TT did. Palm tree on the inside and electrical box on the outside.

Once we couldn’t get into the site, we had to call the after-hours number and got a call back fairly quickly.

They put us into another snug site (that they later admitted their system said 28’ rigs). We had to have 2 people move vehicles and had to pull in the mirror on the truck to miss a light pole- but we got in.

Longest story shortest- they’re not big rig friendly. We go back in 3-4 weeks! LOL.

Friendly staff, though.

The campground had a fire in a transformer and we lost power about 8am one morning. At 1pm, I called and they said they were back up but my site still didn’t work. Within 5 minutes, they had maintenance folks come out and changed the outlet. Fixed me right up.

Our first campsite of the year. Came in after dark and woke up to this view at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area in the Texas panhandle. No hookups but it free! We are enroute to Quartzsite.

Beautiful Quartzsite Sunset today. Kinda nice to boondock in the desert.

Did the RV show yesterday and the flea market today. Quite a hoot! We had a really good time.

Just got back from 2 weeks at Blue Angel Rec Area in Pensacola, FL. Even though it was below freezing a few mornings, it didn't stop Ribs on the smoker and beautiful sunsets.

Lake Magic in Clermont, FL. Used the Trails Collection upgrade on our Thousand Trails reservation ($0/night).

Big pull-thru & paved. 2 pools and nice bath houses.

All utilities were good.

Close proximity to Disney World (especially if you turn left at the Wawa into Avalon Rd take Hartzog to Western Way).
