LP tank transport solution.
Everybody has probably seen this one but me, however, I thought the Hand-e Hauler was the best solution to transporting LP tanks that I have come across. I was about to build my own solution when I came across this quite by accident at PEP BOYS. Northern Tool and others have them.
RhinoGear Hand-E Hauler Fuel Transport Carrier, Model# 80050 | Fuel Cans | Northern Tool + Equipment
Cost: About $10, bungee cord not included. Also hauls certain sized gasoline cans, and #30 LP tanks.
I could never haul an LP tank in my truck without it rattling/rolling around, no matter what/how I tied it down. Now I can.

Go to the grocery store and ask if they can give you one of those plastic milk crates like this. You don't even need the bungee cord. A 30# propane bottle fits it perfectly.

And if the grocery won't give you one they cost about $10 and can be used for lots of other things when not hauling gas bottles.

Ditto to this idea. But I bungee the crate to the truck bed tie down to keep it from sliding around.

X3 on the milk crates.
They can also be used for carrying firewood, tools, and make a great stool to stand on. They are also stackable, so for the brave two or three can be stacked for a makeshift ladder.
I carry four of them all the time.

If you have one of The Container Stores in your area they sell the heavy plastic milk crates for $9.99. They are the same quality, heavy plastic crates, only difference is they don't have the name of a milk company on them. They are 13" sq., 11" tall. They also sell a Supreme Crate that is 14" sq. x 13 3/4"tall for $12.00. It is difficult to find the actual milk crates that milk companies use. I think most are using something else these days.

In the state of Georgia, it is a crime to posses a "milk crate" that carries the name of a dairy on it. Possession of stolen property. It does belong to the dairy. So it's best to buy one if that's your option. Same for soft drink flats.

I think it is the same in Virginia. It is the property of the dairy.

If they will arrest a person for not leaving a tip when it is added to the bill then why not for stealing a plastic tote. Was on the news that a customer was charged 22% tip to his bill. When he refused to pay the tip the police were called and he was charged with stealing service.

How many trillions of dollars did the banks and Wall Street steal from the taxpayer? I don't think I am going to worry too much about some old milk crates.
