We've actually made our reservations through November. We are doing the Florida SP and you can reserve up to 11 months in advance. We haven't done December yet because we haven't quite decided where we want to go, but this will be our last reserve for 2013.

I would think that for Florida in the summer, it would not be a problem because it is to hot. In New England in the summer I would have registrations even during the week. Good Luck

I book almost every trip in advanced. I'm booked through November and plan on adding more.

Haha! It's never too hot. Actually, the SP campgrounds we're staying at through May are all booked. I checked from June on and very few reserved so far. I expect that any SP close to one of the attractions would book pretty quick. Funny though, the SP's we stayed at from Nov - Jan were practically empty.

In MD, it really depends on which campground and when. Holiday weekends full up fast. If you want to camp at Assateaque, the sites full up a year in advance.
