The mirrors I used are glass in very light plastic frames. I just used epoxy on the back to attach very small brass hinges and a small super magnet at the bottom edge. The magnet sticks to a flat head screw. I bought the adjustable stretcher bars from Camping World to keep items from pushing the mirror panels open during transit. I would include pictures but not sure how to do it in this forum.

Thanks : DM. Sounds like a plan. I would have never thought about the stretcher bars. 👍👍👍

I replaced the Mach 3 on my 2015 1905 with a Mach 8. I can now put in garage without letting air out of tires. [emoji23]

Replacing screen on door with Lexan since the dog shredded the screen. [emoji35]

We just picked up our new 2016 2504s last Friday! We up-graded from having a pop-up for just one summer! It will be months before it's warm enough to de-winterize but we are having fun getting it all set up. My biggest question at this point is what do most of you do to make the Murphy bed comfortable? How thick can a foam topper be - or is a plush mattress pad enough? I'm glad to have found this thread - just hope I can find it again! I'm quite sure we'll have many more questions!

We put a 3" on ours. Maybe too thick/soft really but not gonna re-purchase. Congrats on your purchase. We had a blast outfitting our 2015 25KS. Looking forward to spring; been cold in KY!

Thanks for the quick response! So a 3" pad will still allow the bed to fold up ok? Is yours a queen short or regular length pad? Do you have bedding over it? We've had a cold winter here in CO also, but we're having temps in the low 60's for the next week!

anyone know what convertor is used in the 2015 21FBRs/ 2109s. Want to upgrade for some planned boondocking, but the camper is stuck at the Dealer lot getting some minor things done.

Any help would be appreciated.

No problems at all with closing it with all bedding on. Don't remember dimensions. Just remember trying to find a pad with closest dimensions to the bed. Ordered online from somewhere. ..

We had a 2306 with Murphy bed. We had the stock mattress (short queen), a standard queen 3" memory foam, and a mattress pad, with the fitted sheet over the foam & pad... Then a sheet and a heavy blanket on that. With the pillows at the head of the bed, it fit snugly against the wall.

Do you travel with bikes? Where do you store them? Do you use a rack?
Dealer installed 2" receiver with beefed up supports on back (he did similar on my Roo 19). No problems so far carrying 2 bikes.

Have you made any modifications to your M Lite?
1. Switch/pilot light for hot water heater electric element
2. Honeywell RHB111B digital thermostat
3. Fencepost sewer hose holder
4. PVC pipe WDH spring bar holder
5. BAL Hide-a-Spare for spare tire
6. Bike receiver as discussed above
7. 4 pin connector for bike rack lights
8. Routed fresh water tank drain to side of trailer
9. 110VAC outlet on street side sofa table
I've posted pics of most of these on other posts.

IF you have a slide does it function alright?
So far, so good.

If you camp at one place where are you located?
Camp all over Mid-west.

If you use your M Lite to travel where is your favorite spot... so far?
None standing out at this time.

Nancy has "interior" questions...
What sheets do you use? Camping world short queens?
Normal queen sheets, use some stretchy things (technical term) across the corners that take up the slack.

Here is one, where do you put your trash can?
To right of the kitchen, in front of the wardrobe

Have you added any towel racks?
Not yet. DW hasn't decided what/where.

Any tricks for storing things in cabinets during travel?
Go to Walmart/Target, etc and look for various shelves, boxes, etc.

Went a little crazy

The bathroom in out 25DS is pretty cramped for us when on the stool. Just not enough elbow room. Also when getting out of the shower we wanted more swinging room. I am 6' and 280# and DW is a bit wide as well.
So I cut out the wall and removed the door. Got some hardwood trim and stained to match. Put up a rod (3/4" emt) and a pretty curtain. The rod is hinged on one end and had clips to hold it in two positions. Swing it out and latch it to the wall by the fridge or just leave it straight.

I also replaced the analog tstat with a digital and mounted it out where it was easier to get to.

Basically a take on the fence post mod. Gives me a place to put the spring bars while in camp. Used 2" PVC pipe.

Where are your pvc tubes mounted to when camped? I just put my bars in the back of the truck.
