Margarita

Thought of this thread when I was in Costco recently. I use Kirkland Silver Tequila ($18.99) and the Kirkland premium margarita cocktail mix classic lime. The margarita mix is seasonal and back on the shelves. Tis the season

Thanks for the recipe. I'll definitely give it a whirl! If nothing else, I'll be a hit at the campgrounds...

I bought a Margarator to help distribute them. We tried them the other night and they were pretty good

I have a friend who used to bar tend at a mexican restaurant, I think in Arizona. He gave me this recipe and everyone who I've ever shared it with swears it's the best one they ever had. I usually make it up by the pitcher, keep it in the fridge and then pour over ice when drinking. It's easy to scale up and down.

5 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Triple sec
1-1.5 oz of sour mix (whiskey sour, not sweet & sour)
1 oz lime juice (fresh squeezed is best)
1.5-2 oz tequila (use 100% agave for best results!!!)

I know that much OJ sounds really weird, but it's amazing, and easy to make and keep cold.

Scaled up to a 2 qt container (approx 60 oz)
30 oz Orange Juice
6 oz triple sec
6 oz sour mix
6 oz lime juice
12 oz tequila

Happy drinking!!!!
