Congrats on the new RV! Your upcoming trip sounds like fun - someday I hope to take an extended road trip. Anyway, learning the tricks of the trade will be fun. It can really be helpful getting to know your unit before hitting the road. Some members will do a bit of driveway camping. This can take off some of the pressure of finding out what you remember or not. Have questions? This is a great place to post questions or ask for feedback.
My main advice would be to keep things simple until you feel comfortable. Get to know your campsite neighbors a bit. RVers are some of the friendliest people around - often willing to help especially newbies.
