My hose says not for use with potable water. In other words, don't drink from it.

We use one for flushing the black tank. Some break quickly, have had one last more than a year. DH keeps buying them because of ease in storing.

Pocket hose

Thanks I do understand but I can remember all of baseball and football teams drank from water hose at water break during practice and drinking from hose after cutting yards in the neighborhood guess a hose didn't carry the germs back then or the people were a little tougher and not quiet as smart fifty years ago only joking :

We only drink bottle water, never water out of the RV plumbing. Brush teeth but that is it.

As several other folks have said. I use the Pocket Hose for my black water tank flush. Have been using them for 2 years, no problem.

Dh wasn't too cool on the idea but I thought it would be light, useful and take up very little room. Dh says we will never get back in the package. I say use a plastics shoe box.

Bought 1 50 ft with the brass like make/female fittings...got a 25ft "free". The blue 25ft went in the TT for blank tank flush. Have used it 2-3 times. The black 50ft burst on the 3rd use. They sent a replacement...burst 3rd or 4th in my lawn. It was a ballon inside! Will see how long the 25ft last.
