pocket hose for use instead of garden hose

I'm not talking about potable water or drinking water but what you would use a garden hose for. Any comments or experiences using a pocket hose?

I use one of those x-hose (the blue ones) for my sewer tank flush. Very convenient to store with the sewer stuff and keep away from my drinking hoses.

X2 on the black tank flush. Also use it for quit wash jobs away from home.

x3.....they work great to take in the camper...super lightweight and compact. Takes no room. I use it for the black tank flush just as others have mentioned and for general outdoor hose needs. I bought a "Y" adaptor and put that on the campground hose spigot and its there if I need it. Great to have.

I bought one of these 7-8 years ago and it wasn't worth a damn. Tried them again and love them. Lightweight and easy to store.

X4 - have three of them, all used for ancillary purposes, none for potable water. Had a couple of them start leaking around the brass fitting. Called the manufacturer and two weeks later had replacements at no cost - and no hassle

I was told to use only white hoses to allow sun light to keep things from growing inside the hose, other than that I'd like to know too.

Despite plenty of us drinking right from the garden hose as kids, the general consensus now is to only use hoses specifically designated for potable water. These expandable hoses don't carry that designation.
