RV Communities in the south

DH and I are looking for RV communities with RV port and buildable coach house lots for sale in the southern states. Hoping to retire in a few years and tired of the cold winters. Want at least an 800 to 1000 square ft. house, existing or buildable, community amenities and water view desirable. Would appreciate recommendations on what is out there.

Buena Vista RV Resport in Orange Beach, AL is nice. We considered buying a spot in 2010 but ended up buying a house in Gulf Shores, AL. Looking back we should have bought the spot as they have risen in value more than the house.

At one time I thought that would've been great, but the last few times I've been, I've gotten so fed up with the traffic on I65 and SR59. Makes me not want to go back really.

I-10 is the bad one headed to the beaches, and 59 is atrocious. They have the Beach Express now and it's much better, as it bypasses all those small towns down 59.

Take a look at Blue Heron RV Resort near Guntersville, AL. We were looking at them and really liked it.
