I did a search and there is a place called J & S Rivers Bend Resort south of Montello. I tried but couldn't find their website though, maybe they don't have one which doesn't say much. And I did find Rivers End. It's near Markasen in the south side of the lake. We're at Kilby Lake Campground. Link: Kilby Lake Campground I'm there right now, 41 degrees out and the Sabre's fireplace is kickin' out some heat.

p.s. I'm really not going to get it...Just dreaming. After the move, DH would kill me and it would just be too exhausting a process.

So glad you CG opened and you're there! Hurray! Finally! Enjoy!
Thanks we will. And I hope you will too soon. After all the hard work you did doing the move, especially that deck, your DH probably wouldn't kill ya, but I bet he wouldn't be too happy either. Hey, that's the nice thing about dreaming, it doesn't cost anything and there's no work involved.

Nice CG Wiscampsin. Nice and woodsy. Love the Heated Pool. Ours isn't woodsy. It was built on a farm. The woods are more peripheral with trees scattered in the park. It was the best choice for a reasonable commute to work and we love it there. The countryside is woods and farms.
We moved to a nicer site, on an end with pretty, wide open views of a pond, said farmhouse and farmyard, and woods in the background. Right from our lot we have large area to roam that leads to nearby woods in one direction and golf course in the other.
We have a lake, pool, golf course, beach and lots of activities like you guys.
Isn't it grand? I love not hauling around anymore. If we get bored, we just go away and tent or hotel it.

Thanks, we looked at about 7 or 8 CG's before deciding on this one. Being used, or spoiled by, State/National parks/forests we needed some trees. Your lucky to have a reasonable commute to work from your CG. That way you get to enjoy your site/camper more. This will be our 6th year here and I gotta admit the 2 hour drive is starting to get a little old. Luckily I can spend 4-5 days here at a time. I know what you mean by not hauling anymore. Sometimes it's comforting to know that on Sunday afternoon all you do is shut off the water, bring in the awning, and lock the door - done!

We had about that many to chose from, but 3 were full and you had to buy an existing set-up. That wouldn't be bad, but some were either too old (i mean really old) or too expensive (so many add-ons, they weren't campers anymore, but small houses). One was open year round, but no lake, no pool, no nothing.
Two others were nice. More woodsy, with nice pool, a few amenities.
We choose the less woodsy with most amenities and black top roads even b/c resale we thought would be easier. Most attractive to families and well known in the area. You can take your camper when you want to leave, but easier if you have a nice lot, deck, shed, etc. to sell as complete package. Ours has the most rules, but also the best, if only, security too. It's always a give and take when deciding.

Wiscampsin: That was my wife's guess when I showed her your photos. Nice camper, nice site. We camped there for one nite on our way back from Green Bay a couple of years ago. In looking at their map, they have grown since then.

Bodzcampers where do you camp. I'm in Lupton and we live there from when school lets out until labor day weekend. The campground opens may first and I'm hoping this weather straightens out. There was a foot of ice on the lake a couple weeks ago when we went up to check our unit out to see how she weathered the winter.

Your DW has a great memory! Thanks for the comment on our camper & site. Don't know when you were here but changed ownership 7 years ago. Current owners are very nice and enforce the rules, especially quiet hours. BTW forcast of 25 here tonight so I just went out to disconnect and drained the water hose and let the spigot drip so hopefully it doesn't freeze.
