we're in northern Mi. in the West Branch area and we pay 1450.00 a year for full hookups and 30 amp electric. Family campground with tons of activities and the campground is on a no wake lake with boat and pontoon slips for an extra charge campground open from May 1st until oct.31. and can store camper there all winter for no charge actually most of them are up on blocks with tires attached yet but some have not moved since the late 60's and early 70's. We pay electric metered and not all sites are seasonal and honey wagon is extra. I have been nominated the head of the fishing assn. and have planted walleye and hybrid gills in the lake the last 5 years. Most of the campers have been there many years and it is like having a second family. We are very close to huron national forest and the Rifle River state recreation area where Fred Bear used to hunt. It was called grousehaven back then.

On another thought how many of you folks are packed and ready to go camping. We open may first and my totes are full fishing poles respooled with new line and most of the food I need is either packed or in my freezer. Counting the days till i load the truck all I have left to do is get my boat ready but it's been too cold with an accumulation of snow today Grrrr !!!! Mounting the battery in the bow and running power wires to the rear of the boat new gerbil pump , cup holders, and rod holders. Also have to paint the trailer they said it's supposed to get up to the 50's by next week I hope so.

2.5 weeks to go til the cg turns on the water. (4/15) We could however camp there any time before that for $15 a night.

Going to put a new anode in the WH and put some water in the tank and get the plumbing system working. It's time to think about heading out into the AZ mountains for some camping fun.

I have seen a lot of snow birds heading east on I-10 this week so the migration back to their summer feeding grounds has begun.

Wow. $1,450 is cheap. Here in the Northeast it is $4-$5,000 for a seasonal site.

I'm jealous. We are heading out on Friday just to open the trailer up and put the slides out but they won't turn the electric/water on until the 15th.
