I have had 3 mice in the trailer this year, caught in snap traps. The last one, nothing left except fur and bones. I think his family got hungry. I put some D-Con Ready Mix Bait Bits For Mice with Brodifacoum, Hope that gets them. I put a whole box of dryer sheets in the trailer when we closed it up, at least it smells nice.
I have been abusing my Amazon Prime getting ready myself.

All packed and ready to go our CG in Northern Mi. opens May 1st but the owners said depending upon the road conditions they may open the 29th. Hoping our camper is pest free I used fresh cab mouse repellent in the camper. the plastic mouse poison packers from TSC outside and three boxes of the real mothballs. Never had an issue before but there were a ton of campers in our campground invaded by wood rats (chipmunks). A few years ago I a guilt trip because I thought I killed all the chipmunks with my mouse poison packets I put out. WE were there 3 weeks and never saw one of them. Turned out they were living large in my neighbors 5th wheel trailer. They came to open their trailer and tyhe little buggers went scurrying everywhere.

Yup, time of the year to revive this thread. April 15th is opening day for us too and can't wait. Ordered a new water hose from Amazon Prime yesterday.

Went to campsite yesterday to help neighbors take out a few rotten trees before their new fifth wheel gets delivered Saturday 😊

Spent the afternoon cleaning sticks and blowing leaves from our three sites and put down some grass seed - hope to figure out how to get rid of our mole problem this year....they sure wreck a yard 😝

Put the porch glider on the deck to view the river activities this summer also 🚣🏼 and set up the fire ring ♨️

Now have to wash camper and finish loading it with essentials so we can take it to our weekend getaway spot 👍🏻

Got an email from our CG that they will be opening early this year. Our contract officially starts April 15 but they getting the water turned on and letting seasonals come out early for only $15/night. We are planning on staying Saturday night if the weather is decent.

They are having an "open house" over the weekend to let new people (mostly from the camping shows) look around and then having a party Saturday night.

We've been out to check on our trailer at least once a week for the past month or so and also dealing with problems with our shed (long story for another time). Can't wait to finally plug it back in and put the slides out for the season.

We went out to the cg to uncover the unit and check on things. Open up the unit and slid out the slides.
Yep, the cg did open last Saturday for the seasonals. Several folks were camping.
Now if we would have known the park was open ahead of time we would have camped.
Bout time you fixed that shed

Camping this weekend hopefully

I hate to use the poison due to the secondary kills, it would be nice to find an alternative.

Yes they do work, I dont hear anything and Im half crazy already

Last camping season and winter of 2014-15 I would find a mouse just about every weekend in traps and see droppings.
We tried everything but with no luck, always had mouse in a trap or seen droppings.
Last fall we decided to declared war on meeces.

Had done the basic bounce drier sheets and mint oil. This fall we added steel wool, mothballs in storage area and under camper. Fresh Cab Rodent Repellent and the Victor PestChaser Ultrasonic Rodent Repellent.
Had one mouse after the install in a trap, after that nothing.
Last weekend did a complete search of our unit and found no signs of any mice.

im sold
