Realebill

Wow Realebill, that is very sad. We are moving sites too, so you'll have a buddy, so to speak. Deck, shed, trailer....all has to get moved and rebuilt. However, that doesn't compare to something out of your control taking away your special place that you and your fellow islanders loved.

May you find friendly welcoming neighbors at your new place (I'm sure you will) and have a blast that you didn't expect!!

Mike and Lynn

I agree that a seasonal camping group would be great. I really enjoy reading the forum about the tt and mh but there is no category that as a seasonal camper we fit into. We DW and 3 kids after seasonal camping for a couple of years bought a 2013 Grand Lodge late last year so we didn't get to use it as much as we wanted too. Can't wait for May 1st.

Hi HPyke. Welcome to the thread. I know how you feel. We set up at a seasonal just a few weeks before it closed for the season. Better late than never...LOL. But the anticipation for your first full year is intense. Hurry up spring/summer!

Sorry about what happened with you and the other campers Realebill. It will be a lot of work I'm sure to get yourself situated again, but keep positive. You now have the chance to change anything that you didn't like, or maybe add something new? We are awaiting the arrival of our new 5th wheel, and will have a slide on the door side this time, so we will have to reconfigure our outside space. We had a nice 16' deck that that we loved, but it will no longer fit. Going to have to get creative this time around.

well, here's my "clean slate "site . hopefully after this weekend everything will be in place.
trying not to think about the work involved, but instead the end result !thankfully, there is another displaced camper from the old park that is also moving to this park. we will be able to help each other with the heavy "stuff. more pics coming as i get every thing in place.
the front of my trailer will be where the picnic table is now sitting

Looks like a very nice site! Good that you'll have help from somebody that can relate. Just take your time and keep thinking positive.

Looks like a beautiful spot! Take it slow and don't over do it. You'll have all season to make it just right.
