Which campground are you at in Door County? I've been to a couple of them but there are a lot I never went to.

Last week we bought our new Windjammer...still another week or two before the ground is dry enough to do the switch. Ice is just about gone off the lake...summer seems to be getting shorter every year. We can't wait to get moved into our 'new place'...and maybe get some mods done!

Black Tank connection
Hello all
For us seasonals', what are some methods in which you use to connect your hard PVC pipe to the camper. I've used a rubber sleeve however when I opened up the unit last weekend I noticed that the connection is dripping when I pull a drain. Tried to tighten but the molded nibs for attaching the cap is preventing a good seal. This is no good!
Wondering/curious what some of you have used to connect.

Use something like this 3" PVC Female Adapter at Menards
Then you can go to non-screw type if you want and glue it together with pvc glue. I do like the clear 5" extension though. I had a clear elbow when I used to do the overnight thing and could use that again.

Nope, never been to that one. Love Egg Harbor though. Great little town.

We have been up the campground 4 or 5 times this spring just to check things out. I am so ready for summer.

That's so exciting. I'll bet you cant wait until Friday. Have a great time. Camping season has just began. Hopefully the weather will improve soon.

Just got word that the water is FINALLY on in the campground. We are heading up today. Leaving work at 2 . Just hope it dried out enough to get my camper situated correctly so we can lay the deck back down and not have a muddy mess. Let the summer begin.

So safd18fire where in Door County is your seasonal spot? We used to camp at Frontier Wilderness in Egg Harbor. We now have a seasonal spot outside of Plainfield, WI off Hwy 39. Had weekend already. We have our new Rockwood Signature 8329ss all set up and ready for us to enjoy. So enjoy Door County and the Cherrys. DW enjoyed the wineries up there.

Just completed a couple of platforms one for cooking pictured towards rear and the one with the screen house on it. We are going to replace that screen house with a rectangular one with a door (as soon as we choose the type). Let the season begin!

Camper is all moved. Back busting work leveling the shed platform and got it all put up. I will get pictures next weekend. I'm at the airport right now headed to a Microsoft conference. Overall happy with the progress. Just have to hook up the 300 gallon tank next weekend and then enjoy the summer.
