I went up to the seasonal site I have reserved for the season. My RV is on order and will arrive in early June. Wanted to get my dogs acclimated to the space. Lo and behold a very nice Redwood was parked on my site. Owner of the CG was out of town for a wedding.

Not sure how I would have taken this. Especially after paying the seasonal fee's. Do you pay fees for electric, etc. If so and if it bothers you, I would make sure to get the meter readings so you are not paying for their usage.

I would talk to the owner. Suppose you decided to bring up another camper to use for the weekend or just wanted to hang out on your site with the dog and family?

I do have to pay the electric on the site. My Dad has the site next to mine and my sister also has a site in the campground. Right now it's a small CG with 50 sites. This is the first year anyone in my family has had a seasonal site in this CG. My check for the seasonal fees was cashed 6 weeks ago. I was told the site had a fire ring and picnic table. It has neither. My Dad is full time on his site and arrived there last Wednesday. He has told the CG owner the Redwood needs to get off my site. Unfortunately my Dad will be traveling this week for a nephews graduation in VA. From what my Dad found out the couple with the Redwood are supposedly buying a site that hasn't been developed. I suspect they aren't paying anything to use my site. Further that other sites had locks from the electric company on the meters and they ended up on my site because it didn't have a lock. I'm definitely irritated

kaschultz,
Don't blame you a bit for being irritated. Do you have a contract that says a fire ring and picnic table are included? Hopefully the CG owner will deliver them to your site once your camper is parked and set up. As for the Redwood parked on your site IMHO it's your site and the owner should've asked your permission. I would insist a reading on the electric meter be done the day you arrive with your camper. Hope you get these things resolved and please keep us updated.

Finally: out with the Spirit of America and in with the 2014 Windjammer 3008w...and the beginning of year 2 in our seasonal spot! 30 mins to work, so it will be another great year of living at the lake and commuting to work. Now we just have to get the deck put back together and it'll be relax time

We are seasonal at Hidden Ridge RV Resort just north of Kalamazoo. I know of at least one other from this forum that are also at Hidden Ridge.

Our site, work in progress
Thanks Wiscampsin for reminding me or the route to this thread...
Here are some pics, we have rented a 1/2 acre lot and have been doing site prep etc. Finally got the QBOK moved onto site and got a good start on the deck this weekend.
