3 Lakes RV Resort just outside Port Rickey Fl. Lots of things to do. Gated too. Close to beaches and stores but off main highways. Nice big sites, all concrete pads. No having to park on grass or stone. Big Clubhouse, always something going on. Been Full Time here for about 6 years, but many come just for winter months.

We've stayed at a few, these were my favorites:

Point Of View Key Largo RV Resort
was nice, right on the water.

Disney is okay as well.

Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort
Was pretty spotless, not much to fault here.

We stayed at Silver Palms in Okeechobee Fl. Top notch, full of amenities. Many are owners but we were able to rent in the spring. I'm sure they fill up so don't wait if you're so inclined.

Share Your Favorite Florida RV Resorts

Further south than you want but we just stayed at Rock Creek resort in Naples and Jolly Roger resort in Marathon Key. Both were really nice. Very friendly staff too!

The state parks across the panhandle are all very nice but have a 2 week limit. St Joes, St Andrew & St George.

That's great to hear! We sold our home in PC last spring and made a reservation at Harbor Lakes starting in Jan. Slightly rural, but close to everything.

Places to stay in central Florida

Suggest. you give "The Great Outdoors" a try. Located In Titusville Fl new Cape Canaveral. You might even end up staying here. You can rent here but all sites are privately owned.we spent a week here and if and when we decide to move this is where we are coming.
