Taking the Windjammer to a we ddinf!

We leave tomorrow for our last trip in 2017 and it will be a special trip.
We are going to Lexington, VA for our daughter's wedding. And yes, we are taking the trailer! We have so much to take with us we need the hauling space. Hotel rooms are over $200 per night. KOA is just $50. Easy decision. And, really, no one will notice the big blue Ram parked at the wedding venue.
So anyone take a camper to a wedding? Our buddies are camping with us so this should be fun!

No, but we took ours to a Memorial last spring. There was no choice as it was planned to be at a hot springs where the deceased loved going every year.

I have taken my Mini Lite to three different weddings over the past couple years. Two of them I was just parking, not camping, since I got approval to spend the night in the parking lot at the venue! The third trip I was the DJ at the wedding (not a professional, just helping a friend that couldn't afford one) and I stayed in a nearby State Park.

One of the reasons I love having a TT is for weddings, family reunions, and even just visiting friends, it's nice to have my own place to sleep and enjoy some beverages, campfires, and home-cooked food! Have fun!

Not to a wedding but I did take it to the Miss Georgia pageant when my daughter was competing for the title a few years ago. The DW and I stepped out of the trailer dressed to the "nines" and we got a few odd stares at the state park!

Love it! Many great comments here and glad we arent odd for packing and using the camper. Honestly dont think we could have gotten everything hauled 400 miles without the TT.
We will be stepping out in formal attire too. High heels and a pickup truck!

By the way, anyone looking for a nice campgroung check our Natural Bridge KOA just outside Lexington, VA. Very pretty sites, wooded area, and friendly staff. Plenty to do if you aren't going to a wedding.

We have taken our rv's to many functions over the years. Weddings, reunions, birthdays. Gives us a way to take our dog plus enjoy our own things. Congratulations on the wedding and have fun!

Our daughter got married in St. Pete this summer and we camped at Sun 'n' Fun...had plenty of sun and loads of fun!

Wedding was at the Polo Club...quite nice. Turned a one day event into a 5 night camping adventure and enjoyed every minute!
