Great story, but I am surprised there hasn't been a bunch of posts where people bemoan the evils of credit and try to tell you that they live their lives paying cash for everything, and you should too.

Generally, anytime I see a post on financing, you get the "I pay cash for everything" crowd.

Now... About this peach cobbler...

I am headed in that direction and shall soon be dwelling amongst them.

Paid cash for that too. And the ice cream.
Give it away free. And the ice cream, too.

Oh, bring your own spoon. Never seem to have enough spoons.

Links to peach cobbler kit - DIY

Back in 2009 I put up this post about prepacking all your dry ingredients to make a cobbler.

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ml#post1493781

The link to the recipe within that post has now changed to here:

Byron's Dutch Oven Recipes - Easy Peach Cobbler

Where you will find a host of excellent recipes. While you might not draw down the required fire and hot coals, you WILL draw a crowd.

Yeah, there is a cobbler in there...

I brought my camper two years ago and camper was financed for twenty years, I said no way will I live that long. The lady didn't even crack a smile she said somebody would. Maybe when I pay off the truck I'll double up on the payments or maybe I'll win the lottery

I wouldn't double up payments. Enjoy life and let the cards lay where they fall!
