My Malamutes have no dog odor, they do not bark but they will howl once in a while, but their shedding is called "blowing their coat" and it can fill garbage bags in the spring. So you need to get out and visit more trailers, cause one of the claims is true with my dogs. And that has been told to me by more people than trailers you have visited probably.

We have two Havanese. One 7 and the other 10 pounds. Great dogs for RV living. No shedding.

My yellow lab, Gunner, sheds more than any other dog on earth.

Also sometimes he doesn't smell real good.

That doesn't stop complete strangers at campgrounds from walking right up on him and trying to pet him though. So far all he's done is growl and nip. Stupid people.

I don't like cats... but I am not mean to them. I do like dogs, but I respect those who don't. I don't understand them, but I respect them.
Dogs are man's best friend for a reason. Yes, I believe dogs have some sort of soul...not the same, but a soul none the less. JMO

I don't know why shedding is such a big deal.. At my age it's me that's shedding not the Pug. I'm just thankful that my wife still lets me go camping with her and the dog anyway!!!!

Just saying!

I deleted the picture I took at Walmart last winter.
As we were walking along the front of the store they had wheel barrows lined up. They all had the wheels put on right except one, they had put the wheel on top of the handles, looked to make it hard to pickup and push.

My dog does not make noise unless someone gets inside our space uninvited, he does shed, smells less and is cleaner than all kids and most of their parents. He is not friendly, wary of strangers as they should be of all dogs. We would not change any of those traits.
