I would have all my fur children with us. They are just like humans. They make mess just like us humans do. But they are always happy to see you when you walk through the door. I have never had any of my furry kid ask for money or the car. Don't fill my life with drama. And when I miss behaved, they don't nagged me to death. We full time and I'll take the mess and happily clean up

Dog Travels

The reason why we got our 5'r is so that our furry kids can go with us. One is a 60 lb. Boxer mix and the other is a 65 Chocolate Lab Border Colly mix of some sort. The only problem I have is the Boxer mix finds his way under the covers of our bed when I get up to us the facilities at 3 am. But we share with our four legged bosses and would not have it any other way! The other dog can usually be found on the couch or in front of the fireplace in the camper.

We bought our MH so that they could travel with us, not having them cramped in a car, not having to deal with dog sitters, hotels that are 'dog friendly =more money', etc.

Thanks! She's a very rare chihuahua...we've had the breed for years and have only seen colors like hers a few times so had to have her. (The breeder is up north of Denver..she comes from a line of champions but we don't show dogs.)

I agree that she's adorable! I'm not a dog person but with a dog like her I could easily become one.

Never seen a rv that didn't smell from dogs and especially cats. I think the owners get use to the odor and don't realize how bad it is.

Ever think about the items in Walmart that have been fondled by customers with nasty hands? What about the grocery carts that had kids with snotty noses or worse riding in them?

Sounds like you need to buy a large quantity of rubber gloves and face masks just to go shopping and to work.

Some people camping down us have 5, yes I said 5, St Bernards camping with them.
There is a show at the park lodge. They have a big van, and 2 canopies over a big cage enclosure. Dog ramp on one trailer door, so they must take them in at night.
We travel with 1 Golden Retriever. She usually barks 1x per park

X2!! I always have to smile when folks we meet who travel with critters immediately tell us that their pet doesn't make noise, is friendly, doesn't shed, and doesn't make their camper stink. They thoroughly believe it, but I have yet to find any instances of even one of their claims being true

There is a new Febreze commercial out that plays on that. Can't remember what they call it, but the gist is that you don't smell how nasty you, well, smell.

Ditto to all of the above, plus I like sleeping in our own bed, not one that thousands of other people sleep in.
