Where you staying in Charlotte? We're only 20-30 minutes from Lowes Motor Speedway.

Not yet, snow still on the ground. The Local KOA is supposed to open this weekend. March 28. And we are supposed to go April 5. But it is still going below freezing at night and we are supposed to get snow on Wednesday. Will this winter ever end

For those of us NORTH of the MDL, that thread title just ain't right! We had a teaser day yesterday, which was able to get some work done on the 5er and start to get ready to pull out next week for FL. to all those that are able to get out already though!

Not yet unfortunately. The temp was in the teens this morning and breezy. Brrr. Still too cold to dewinterize.

Y'all don't know what it's like down south. I have this green stuff all over my camper since this 75 degree weather moved in. I actually had to put on shorts and a tee shirt and pull the camper out into the driveway and wash it!?! This pollen down here is something else.

Stay warm and happy camping.

Hendrick shops are about 10 minutes from the track and there are a couple of full hook up parks there. Tom Johnson has a full hook up area and they are right across the highway and parking lot from the track. The other rv park is on the south of the track on the way to Hendrick's shops.

You ain't wolfin'!* And pine trees are the *worst* when it comes to pollen.

Since the huge oaks in the back yard are buddin' out, now I begin the battle with the small hulls being tracked in constantly by our dogs, who both have "fluffy" feet which become hull magnets.

But, I'll battle the pollen and hulls with a smile....Old Man Winter is now officially deceased here! High yesterday: 78*, high today 72*. I've been blastin' the A/C in my Jeep off and on for over 2 weeks now.

It's lookin' Go Campin' GREEN here in the South!

We're leavin' out the 4th too, seems to be a popular date (actually headin' out the night before) for a Spring Celebration Trip!

*A common phrase 'round here, meaning you ain't cryin' wolf, or tellin' a fib.
